Krewella have teamed up with Yellow Claw to produce the next massive trap cross-over selection ‘New World’. The sisters provide the majority of the vocals, with Chance The Rapper’s brother Taylor Bennett adding a singular verse.
The single’s title borrows from the pair’s June EP ‘New World Pt. 1’. “'New World’ is about cultural diversity. Embracing your skin color, flaunting your differences. Loving your ethnic background in a world that many times tells you to hate it. The world is going to be a bunch of mixed kids someday. The real melting pot. That is the New World,” Yasmine tells YourEDM.
The track’s Eastern-influenced breakdown was inspired the sister’s multi-cultural ethnicity and experiences.
